FRSC decorates 116 officers, 184 road marshal assistants in Kano

The Kano State command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has decorated 116 newly promoted personnel and 184 road marshal assistants in the state.
The state FRSC sector commander, Muhammed Bature, disclosed this in a statement signed by the command’s public relations officer, Abdullahi Labaran, on Friday in Kano.
Mr Bature was quoted as charging the officers and marshals to see their elevation as a call to higher responsibility and dedication to duty.
“The promotion reflected the corps’ commitment to its vision of ensuring safer roads and reducing road crashes across the country.
“A total of 116 personnel of the command were decorated in their respective formations across the state, following the recent nationwide promotion exercise approved by the corps.
“Also, 33 officers were elevated to various ranks, ranging from assistant corps commander (ACC) to assistant route commander (ARC). Also, 83 marshal inspectors were promoted, while 184 road marshal assistants were also elevated to higher ranks,” he said.
Mr Bature assured the public that the promotions would further strengthen the command’s operations and improve road safety management in Kano State.
He commended the corps marshal for recognising the hard work of staff, stating that the gesture would boost their morale and enhance service delivery.
The ceremony was attended by department heads, unit commanders, and family members of the decorated personnel.
