The 15th National Assembly of Vietnam will pass nearly 50 draft laws and resolutions and make decisions on personnel matters at its 10th session scheduled for next month.

National Assembly chairman, Tran Thanh Man, said on Monday.

He made the remarks while concluding the 49th meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee, local daily Thanh Nien reported.

The legislature is expected to adopt key laws and resolutions in the fields of education, healthcare and international integration, he said.

He stressed that the upcoming session is of special significance as it will not only review regular year-end issues but also summarise the work of the entire tenure.

It adopts important resolutions outlining directions for the next stage.

The 10th session will open on October 20 and will be the final session of the 15th National Assembly’s tenure, according to Vietnam News Agency.
