Pastor Tolu Odukoya confirms split from spouse after years of marriage
Clergywoman Toluwani Odukoya, pastor of Fountain of Life Church, has confirmed the end of her marriage to Olumide Ijogun after several years together.
The pastor announced that her marriage, which began in 2012 and produced three children, two daughters and a son, has ended after several years together
She disclosed her YouTube channel in a recent episode of Toluwani Unfiltered.
The confirmation came years after their 2012 wedding, with Odukoya recounting that the first loss was the death of the marriage itself, followed by the passing of her stepmother, her father’s twin sister, and then her father, all within the space of four months after the separation.
Ms Odukoya explained that the marriage ended due to circumstances beyond her control, saying that “when a marriage ends, you experience some deaths.” She noted that although her ex-husband was a “great man,” marriages are unlikely to last if they are not ordained by God.
She shared that both she and her ex often prayed, seeking God’s guidance for their union.
Following the split, she leaned on her family, who she said played a crucial role in her healing journey, describing her siblings as people who are “ready to defend and stand by you.”
Ms Odukoya, who is also a gospel singer, is the first daughter of the late Pastors Bimbo and Taiwo Odukoya and currently serves as the associate senior pastor at The Fountain of Life Church.
