Osimhen shines as Napoli defeat Bayern Munich

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen scored twice as Napoli defeated Bayern Munich 3-0 at Allianz Arena in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
The red hot Osimhen led Napoli’s attack brilliantly on the day, giving Napoli the lead in the 69th minute courtesy of an assist from Adam Ounas.
The 22-year-old made it two for Napoli in the 71st minute, while Zinédine Machach sealed Napoli’s victory in the 85th minute.
“We continue to build on the momentum,” Osimhen said in a tweet after the march on Saturday.
Reacting to the victory, Napoli’s coach Luciano Spalletti expressed satisfaction with the performance.
“I’m happy with the performance, we’re on the right path,” the coach said after full time at Allianz Arena. “Today it was crucial to put minutes in our legs.”
“We had to show that we’re an organised team and we succeeded at that. It was thanks to this organisation that we managed to score, which is especially satisfying,” Spalletti added.
