Idris Mohammed assumes duty as Kano’s FRSC sector commander

Idris Mohammed has assumed office as the new sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps in Kano.
This was announced in a statement on Wednesday.
It stated that Mr Mohammed took over from Muhamed Bature, following a nationwide redeployment of senior officers across various FRSC commands.
According to him, the new sector commander officially assumed duty on Tuesday, following a successful tenure as the zonal head of operations at FRSC Zone 1 Headquarters in Kaduna.
He stated that the new commander will make a significant contribution to operational coordination and traffic management across the zone.
Mr Mohmmed thanked the corps marshal and management for their confidence reposed in him. He pledged his total commitment to uphold the corps’ vision of eradicating road traffic crashes and creating safer motoring conditions.
Mr Mohammed noted the need for collective responsibility, discipline, and synergy among officers and marshals, as well as collaboration with stakeholders to ensure sustainable success.
The statement also mentioned that officers and marshals of FRSC RS1.2 Kano warmly received the new sector commander and assured him of their full cooperation and dedication toward achieving the corps’ goals in the state.
