INEC uploads 96% of Anambra governorship election results on IReV

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) uploaded 96.05 per cent of the Anambra State governorship and state assembly election as of 7:16 p.m. on Saturday.
Of the 320 polling units in the Anaocha Local Government Area, the electoral body has uploaded results from 316 on its website. While 303 polling unit results have been uploaded out of the 313 in Onitsha-North LGA.
Also, the electoral commission has uploaded a total of 136 polling unit results out of the 164 in Anambra West LGA. For Nnewi South, results from 273 of 297 polling units have been uploaded.
For Aguata LGA, INEC has uploaded 333 out of a total of 342 polling unit results. Meanwhile, in Awka North, INEC uploaded the results of 145 out of 150.
Though the election has been marred by allegations of vote-buying and selling, a thorough review of the uploaded results on the IREV shows that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA)—the incumbent governor Charles Soludo’s political party is taking the lead in the gubernatorial election.
