Nasarawa speaker urges youths to shun violence, coexist peacefully

The speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, has urged youths to continue living in peace and tolerating one another, irrespective of their affiliations.
The speaker made the call on Saturday in Lafia when members of the Mada Development Association (MDA) youth wing, Kokona branch, Nasarawa State, paid him a courtesy visit.
Mr Jatau said that peace was the necessary requirement for the development of any society, hence the need for all to coexist peacefully with one another.
The speaker appreciated the leadership of the association for promoting unity and peace among its members and other youths in the state.
He called for synergy among the Mada and Eggon, as well as other ethnic groups, for the overall development of Kokona Local Government and the State at large.
The speaker appreciated the association for scoring his leadership highly and giving him the award of excellence.
Earlier, Kyune Zwebe, the chairman of the association, commended the speaker for his good leadership style.
Mr Zwebe assured the speaker of their support to enable him to succeed.
