X, OpenAI, other websites down as Cloudflare suffers technical glitch

American company providing a wide range of network and cybersecurity services, Cloudflare, suffered a technical glitch which disrupted the operations of websites across the globe on Tuesday.

The network and cybersecurity service provider announced in a statement that it suffered a glitch that affected its customers across the globe.

The statement stated, “Cloudflare is aware of, and investigating an issue which potentially impacts multiple customers. Further detail will be provided as more information becomes available.”

Top among websites affected by the disruptions caused by Cloudflare’s downtime include microblogging platform, X, OpenAI, ChatGPT, Canva, Spotify and other platforms.

In Nigeria, some online newspapers using Cloudflare were affected by glitch with users unable to access them.
