Man, 24, allegedly hangs self in Ebonyi

The Police Command in Ebonyi State said a 24-year-old man, Joshua Kosoro, has taken his life at Umuogodo Akpu in the Ohaukwu Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.
The command’s Spokesman, SP Joshua Ukandu, who confirmed the incident on Thursday in Abakaliki, said it occurred on Sunday, November 16.
Mr Ukandu said, “On Sunday, one Joshua Kosoro from Umuogodo Akpu community, Ohaukwu LGA, who was based in Lagos State came to Ebonyi State and told his relatives that he was hearing strange voices. He said that the voices talk to him and always ask him to do strange things.
“The relatives went out to look for solution to the issue; as everyone was away from the house he stayed back; before they could come back, they saw that he has hanged himself to death.
“The officers of the command visited the scene and the body was taken to the hospital, where he was certified dead.
Mr Ukandu said that the report was brought to the command’s table by his relatives adding that investigation into the incident had commenced.
