Gov Yusuf hands over vehicles, motorcycles to JTF to boost security

Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State has reinforced security operations by allocating ten vehicles and 50 motorcycles to the Joint Task Force (JTF).
This is contained in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Sunusi Dawakin-Tofa, in Kano on Thursday.
Mr Yusuf said that the vehicles were intended to improve mobility, response time and overall efficiency in the front‑line local government areas of Kiru, Tsanyawa, Kunchi, Ghari, Shanono, Tudun Wada and Doguwa.
The allocation letter was presented by the director of Special Services, Umar Zubairu, representing the director‑general of Special Services, retired Maj.-Gen. Sani Muhammad.
The JTF commander, AM Tukur, was represented by his chief of staff.
In attendance were representatives of the commissioner of police, the director of the State Security Service, the commander of the national security and Civil Defence Corps, and the chairmen of Kiru, Tsanyawa and Gwarzo LGAs.
Mr Yusuf reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to prioritising security and supporting collaborative initiatives to safeguard lives and property across the state.
