Domestic Violence: Tu Face calls for help on Instagram, deletes post after few minutes

Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as Tu Face, sparked concern on Wednesday after posting “Help me” on his Instagram story before deleting it only minutes later.
The brief post came amid growing public attention on a series of videos showing tense moments between the singer and his wife, Natasha Osawaru.
The couple had earlier appeared in a viral clip where they were seen in a heated exchange. Ms Osawaru could be heard questioning why Tu Face was raising his voice at her, with bystanders eventually capturing a moment where police officers were present around them.
“Don’t do that, don’t do that, don’t fucking, do it, na everyday you go they shout for me? Wetin Dey happen. Why are you raising your voice at me,” she said.
Another video making the rounds was taken from an Instagram Live session hosted by broadcaster Daddy Freeze.
The stream initially featured some of Tu Face’s former manager, Kaka Igbokwe, who made claims about Ms Osawaru’s alleged behaviour saying she “punched him.”
The situation escalated when the singer unexpectedly joined the live, shutting down the conversation and exchanging words with the people on the live. “You need to shut the fuck up man.”
Moments later, raised voices between Tu Face and Ms Osawaru were heard in the background. She was saying “let them see us together.” He said, “You see wetin you dey do, what’s your problem.” before the live session abruptly ended from their side.
The singer’s younger brother, Hyacinth Idibia, also posted a message on his story which seemed to be a message to Tuface, saying “You’ve always been ahead. always been brilliant. lyrics meant to inspire, But somehow, it’s unfolding in real time…Painful reality, allow us save you Oyinem’ you ve been suffering for too long. God knows.”
While several narratives and allegations circulated on social media, neither Tu Face nor Ms Osawaru has issued a detailed public statement addressing the events seen in the videos.
