Ondo APC to authenticate membership through e-registration

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State says arrangements have been concluded to authenticate its membership list through an electronic registration.
The party said the decision was taken at the state executive committee (SEC) meeting held on Wednesday at the party secretariat in Akure.
The meeting was presided over by the state chairman, Ade Adetimehin.
“This initiative will enable the party at both the national and state levels to maintain a secure and accurate database of members,” APC said.
The party urged leaders at the local government and ward levels to take the exercise seriously.
It also restated the party’s resolve to deliver a high percentage of votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
According to the party, 18 resource persons, one from each local government area, will be trained ahead of the exercise.
It noted that they would, in turn, train selected ward officials to ensure smooth and effective coverage across the state.
The registration of Governor Lucky Aitedatiwa as leader of the party in the state would mark the official commencement of the exercise statewide.
A committee headed by the state organising secretary, Charles Fagbohunka, was set up to oversee the implementation and ensure a hitch-free process.
