Son arrested after filmmaker Reiner, wife found stabbed to death

Nick Reiner, the son of celebrated Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner, has been arrested following the deaths of his parents in their Los Angeles home.
The couple were found stabbed to death on Sunday afternoon.
The bodies of the couple were discovered in their home, with law enforcement sources confirming that the two bodies found at the property belonged to the Reiners.
Online jail records viewed on Monday show that 32-year-old Nick was taken into custody Sunday night and is being held in Los Angeles County Jail on $4 million bail.
As of now, authorities have not disclosed the specific criminal charges against him.
Mr Nick has publicly spoken about his drug abuse, he entered his first rehab facility around his 15th birthday.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Division is continuing its investigation, and authorities have not yet released further details about what led to the tragic deaths of the couple.
