One person killed in Osun road crash

The Federal Road Safety Corps, on Wednesday, said one person was killed in a road crash in Osun.
The sector commander, Olaleye Adegboyega, disclosed this in a statement.
He said that the accident occurred on Tuesday night at about 9:30 p.m. around the Jagilegbo area of the state, claiming one life with another passenger injured.
“A black motorcycle with an unregistered number plate had a fatal accident, claiming the rider’s life, while the other person was severely injured.
“The accident was caused by speed violations and disobedience to safety regulations, but the deceased person has been deposited in the morgue while the other person has been taken to an undisclosed hospital,” said the FRSC statement.
He said that the command urges all road users to desist from excessive speed and also to register their number plates for proper verification.
