Court remands three Indian nationals, dispatch manager for breach of trust
The Kwara State High Court on Wednesday ordered the remand of a dispatch manager and three Indian nationals in the custody of the Nigerian Correctional Service.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), in a statement, said its Ilorin zonal directorate had arraigned them for alleged conspiracy and criminal breach of trust.
The commission said the Indian nationals are Lalit Sarwat, Ravi Raghavendra, and Gagan Sarswat, while the Ilorin-based dispatch manager is Samuel Oniyide.
The EFCC said, “Justice Sulaiman Akanbi of the Kwara State High Court sitting in Ilorin has remanded three Indian nationals—Lalit Sarwat, Ravi Raghavendra, and Gagan Sarswat—alongside an Ilorin-based dispatch manager, Oniyide Samuel, in the custody of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) over alleged criminal breach of trust.
“The defendants were arraigned on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, by the Ilorin zonal directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on a two-count charge bordering on conspiracy and criminal breach of trust.”
According to the anti-graft agency, their offences contravened Sections 97 and 314 of the Penal Code.
