Nick Buckley, a British politician from Manchester, has railed against former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua for waving the Nigerian flag after beating Jake Paul, an American YouTuber turned boxer, in a heavyweight bout in Miami over the weekend.

Mr Buckley berated Joshua for “waving a third-world country flag”, calling him “anti-White racist and an ungrateful hypocrite”.

“AJ is a good example of what is wrong with mass immigration. First of all, he is an anti-White racist as per his speech during BLM protests, where he called for Blacks not to use White businesses,” Mr Buckley said on Saturday.

A member of the political party Advance UK, Mr Buckley said Joshua “waves around a third-world flag as if it is worthy of respect and represents him”.

“My prediction, he will only ever live in White countries and never live in Nigeria. Ungrateful hypocrite,” added the British politician.

Mr Buckley’s statement has generated several reactions online.

An online user, @MatthewStadlen, said, “Your posts are good examples of racism, Nick.”

@Yubbie007 said, “Third world flag?!? The country whose resources your country lives out on.”

@WisdomMatic said, “Bro, he’s literally a British boxer and has represented Britain throughout his career. Let the man acknowledge his heritage. That doesn’t make him any less British. He’s British and will keep representing Britain until he retires.”

Mr Buckley has a history of kicking against a Black movement.
