CP praises JTF officers for foiling bandits’ attacks in Kano

He emphasised the need for collective efforts to protect lives and property.

The Kano State Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim  Bakori, has commended Joint Task Force (JTF) officers for their bravery in repelling bandits’ attacks in Tsanyawa and Shanono Local Government Areas on Thursday.

This is contained in a statement issued by the command’s spokesperson, CSP Abdullahi Kiyawa, on Friday.

Mr Bakori, who led a delegation of security officials on an assessment visit to the JTF teams, emphasised the need for collective efforts to protect lives and property.

The delegation included top officials from the Nigerian Army, Air Force, and Navy.

Mr Kiyawa said, “The JTF officers were praised for their dedication and selfless service, with the CP urging them to remain vigilant and maintain maximum synergy.

“The Kano State Police command has appealed to the public to cooperate in maintaining peace and security in the state.”
