Burial date and venue of former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua’s friends, Sina Ghami and Abdul Latif Kevin Ayodele, who died in a car accident in Nigeria, have been announced.

Boxing King Media, in a social media post on Saturday, circulated the invitation to the funeral of the duo.

“The Janaza (Funeral) prayer service for Sina Ghami and Abdul Latif Kevin Ayodele, close friends of Anthony Joshua, will take place on Sunday 4th January,” the invitation card read.

Ghami and Ayodele will be buried at 10:00 a.m. at London Central Mosque, 146 Park Road, London NW8 7RG.

The duo died in an auto crash on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on December 29 while on a holiday trip with their friend, Joshua, to his home state, Ogun State.

Ayodele, a British-Nigerian fitness professional, personal trainer and close friend of Joshua, popularly known as Latz, died at 36.

Aside from working with Joshua, Latz had worked with other top athletes and celebrities including David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Ghami, a British fitness expert popularly known as Sina Evolve, specialised in musculoskeletal injuries and corrective exercise, and had been a prominent member of Joshua’s team.

Ghami was among the team members who guided Joshua to his historic heavyweight titles against Wladimir Klitschko in 2017.

As a sports rehabilitation expert, Ghami had worked with NFL players including Jerel Worthy and BJ Cunningham, and NBA star Jamal Green. He co-founded Evolve Gym in London in 2017.
