Nigerian singer Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known as Adekunle Gold, has confirmed that he and his wife, Simi, have welcomed twins.

The singer shared the news on his Snapchat story, writing: “Asked God for another child and he blessed me double.”

The announcement comes weeks after Simi’s December 2025 post featuring a snippet from Adekunle Gold’s newly released music video, “My Love Is the Same”.

She captioned the clip, “From my baby, for my babies.” In the video, Simi appeared with a prominent baby bump, indicating that the couple was expecting another child.

Adekunle Gold and Simi, both formerly signed to X3M Music early in their careers, have remained one of Nigeria’s most high-profile music couples.

They married in a private ceremony in January 2019 after years of friendship and musical collaboration.

In May 2020, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, Adejare Kosoko, popularly known as Deja.
