The Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, has accused his estranged political godson, Siminalayi Fubara, of sacking 10,000 Rivers State youths he (Wike) employed before leaving office.

Mr Wike, a former governor of Rivers State, spoke on Wednesday while addressing his supporters in Ahoada main Town in the Ahoada East Local Government Area of the state.

“What is continuity? I employed 10,000 Rivers State youths, the person we handed over power to, instead of allowing the 10,000 youths, cancelled that job,” Mr Wike said, adding “A bad child is a bad child.”

He added, “That’s how you know how human beings are. I handed over, see where I stopped, please make sure you continue with this programme, which would make our state to be one of the respected states in this country.”

The FCT minister said Rivers State no longer commands respect under Mr Fubara, adding “I didn’t make a mistake, we never made a mistake. I would not make a mistake in continuing to support Tinubu.”
