Nasarawa: APC e-registration key to party growth, says commissioner

The Nasarawa State commissioner for eater resources and rural development, Mohammed Muluku, has urged APC members to participate actively in the party’s ongoing e-registration exercise.
Mr Muluku made the call on Thursday during the flag-off of the exercise in Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area by the council’s chairman, Iliya Aliyu.
He said the APC administration had delivered “dividends of democracy” across the state, making widespread participation in the registration exercise necessary.
According to him, the exercise will revalidate existing members and allow new entrants to join the party ahead of future political engagements.
Mr Muluku noted that the initiative would generate a reliable and comprehensive database of APC members across Nasarawa State.
“I want to use this opportunity to call on our people to embrace the APC membership e-registration exercise in the state.
“The party has done well and is still doing well at both state and national levels,” Mr Muluku said.
He said Governor Abdullahi Sule’s performance was evident, noting that “his projects cut across all parts of the state.”
The commissioner called on residents to continue supporting Mr Sule’s administration to ensure the success of its development programmes.
He also donated ₦1 million to support the conduct of the e-registration exercise in the area.
Earlier, Mr Aliyu said the e-registration was designed to produce a credible, accurate and error-free APC membership register.
He urged party members and prospective registrants to participate actively, describing the exercise as vital for personal and overall state development.
