Trump posts AI-generated photo of self, Vance, Rubio hoisting American flag on Greenland

U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday posted an AI-generated photo of himself; Deputy JD Vance and State Secretary, Marco Rubio, hoisting the American flag on Greenland.
Mr Trump displayed the photo on Truth Social amid global opposition to his threat to annex the autonomous Danish territory
In the photo, Mr Trump held the American flag, while Messrs Vance and Rubio stood behind him and the trio face a small signpost with inscription: “Greenland US territory EST. 2026.”
Mr Trump’s move to annex Greenland had attracted opposition from global leaders.
European leaders, including Emmanuel Macron, Ulf Kristersson, and European Council President Antonio Costa, described Mr Trump’s decision as unacceptable.
However, Mr Trump threatened to slam a 10 per cent tariff on goods coming from Britain, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Germany, The Netherlands, and France, effective February 1.
He accused the countries of playing a dangerous game.
