Eight ships laden with commodities arrive Lagos ports

About eight ships have arrived at Lekki, Tincan, and Apapa ports in Lagos, waiting to discharge bulk urea, bulk sugar, bulk gypsum, empty containers, and base oil.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication “Shipping Position,” a copy of which was given to journalists on Tuesday in Lagos.

The document noted that 28 ships laden with petroleum products, food items, and other goods were expected to arrive at Apapa, Lekki, and Tin-Can Island ports between January 27 and February 6.

NPA stated that the expected ships would contain bulk wheat, bulk gypsum, fresh fish, petrol, bulk gas, crude oil, and containers carrying various goods.

Twenty two other ships are currently at the ports, discharging various cargoes including containers, raw crude oil, alkaline, bulk gypsum, base oil, bulk crude oil, bulk wheat, bulk clinker, bulk urea, and empty containers.
