The senior pastor of Streams of Joy International, Jerry Eze, has urged Christians to shun immoral acts and celebrate Valentine’s Day in a holy manner as the day draws near.

Mr Eze, during the church service on Sunday in Abuja, advised his congregants to flee from all appearances of evil.

He particularly urged singles in the church not to succumb to pressure to engage in sexual relations to prove their love to anyone.

Mr Eze emphasised that their body was the temple of the Holy Spirit, saying, “Sex has never been a proof of love.”

The cleric said singles and youths should avoid such situations by instead attending special church programmes organised to mark the day, which are educative, godly, and also fun.

Valentine’s Day, celebrated globally on February 14, is a day to express love and commitment through gifts and other romantic gestures.
