The FCT High Court has adjourned until April 8, 2026, the trial of Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, in a suit of assault and battery.

The claimant’s counsel, Uchenna Ojembe, and the defendant’s counsel, Taiwo Akinsulie, were in court for the trial of Odumodublvck, but the case was adjourned due to ongoing renovations in the courtroom.

However, the counsels agreed on a date that is convenient for both parties to enable them to commence the case.

The claimant, a Nigerian musician, Ogbogiri Okey Levi, popularly known as “Kraziecent,” had instituted a suit against Odumodublvck for violently assaulting and battering him in a public event sometime in December 2024

Kraziecent, in a civil suit, alleged that while he was peacefully taking pictures and videos of himself at the event, Odumodublvck violently assaulted him for no reason.

He said the defendant’s actions inflicted emotional distress on him, and his iPhone 15 Pro Max was intentionally damaged in the process.

The claimant further sought an order from the court directing the defendant to pay the medical expenses incurred during his treatment.

Kraziecent sought an order directing Odumodublvck to pay him N2 billion for damages.

He also sought an order directing the defendant to issue a public apology to him through all the defendant’s social media platforms, including two national newspapers, among other claims in the suit.
