Super Falcons coach Madugu invites Alozie, Monday, 23 others for Cameroon friendlies
Super Falcons head coach Justine Madugu has called up 25 players for Nigeria’s double-header friendly matches against Cameroon scheduled for February 26 and March 6, 2025 in Yaounde.
The matches will serve as part of the 10-time African champions’ preparatory arrangements for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations set to take place in Morocco next month.
In the list by Nigeria Football Federation, Gift Monday will return to the team after she was left out of Nigeria’s triumph at the last WAFCON in Morocco last year.
Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene also received a call-up after being out for over three years.
In addition, midfielder Precious Christopher and goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor both received maiden invitations while veteran Asisat Oshoala was left out.
