Manchester United beat Everton 1-0, climb to fourth place
Michael Carrick and Manchester United continue their unbeaten run, beating Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium for the first time, thanks to another off-the-bench late goal from Benjamin Sesko.

The first half lacked quality, especially from the visitors, with a few loose balls at the back. However, Manchester United still tested Jordan Pickford with two long-range efforts.
After the interval, the intensity shifted to the hosts as Everton controlled most of the game but wasted a few chances through Armstrong and Garner. The Red Devils also had several attempts, even though Everton enjoyed more possession in the match.
United broke the deadlock in the 71st minute with a perfect strike from Sesko. The goal came from a brilliant delivery from Cunha that found Mbeumo out wide, squaring the ball for the Slovenian forward to finish calmly.
The match ended with Manchester United extending their unbeaten run to 10 games.
The Red Devils climbed to fourth place in the Premier League standings, three points behind Aston Villa and three points above Chelsea and Liverpool, and they now prepare to host Crystal Palace on Sunday at Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, Everton sit at eighth place on the table ahead of their trip to face Newcastle United at St James’ Park.
