Senegalese-born American shooter dressed in hoodie branded ‘Property of Allah’ kills three, injures 14 in U.S. apartment
A shooter went on a rampage at Austin, Texas in the United States of America on Sunday, killing three and injuring about 14 people.
Austin Police Department, in a statement on X on Sunday, confirmed that the attack occurred “around 2:a.m on Sunday morning” of March 1, 2026.
“Austin Police (APD) officers responded to an active attack in the 700 block of West 6th St. Three people are confirmed to be deceased, including the suspect, and 14 additional people were injured,” the police said.
The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation in a press conference on Sunday said the shooting was “potentially an act of terrorism.”
Fox News published photo of the shooter armed with a rifle, dressed in a hoodie branded “property of Allah” and an undershirt referencing Iran and had a Quran in his car.
According to the media outlet, the shooter has been identified as Ndiaga Diagne, 53, a naturalized U.S. citizen born in Senegal
