Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has urged the All Progressives Congress’ grassroots leaders to intensify efforts for a successful online membership registration.

He emphasised that the initiative aims to strengthen the party’s structure and enhance transparency.

This is contained in a statement by his Press Secretary, Mustapha Mohammed in Kano on Friday.

Mr Yusuf noted that the exercise would modernise the party’s membership database, promoting efficiency and accountability.

He urged party executives, ward leaders, and other key stakeholders at the grassroots to intensify mobilisation and sensitisation efforts to encourage both new and existing members to participate actively in the online registration.

Mr Yusuf said that the exercise would not only modernise the party’s membership database but also promote efficiency, accountability, and better coordination within the party’s organizational framework.

The Chairperson of the National Association of Local Government Chairmen (ALGON), Kano State Chapter, Hajiya Sa’adatu, who spoke on behalf of political leaders at the local government level, reaffirmed their loyalty and unwavering support to the governor.

She congratulated the governor on the successful conduct of the APC state party congress, describing it as a significant step toward strengthening unity and stability within the party in Kano State.
