Arsenal beat Everton to bolster EPL title dream

Arsenal defeated Everton 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium in their English Premier League encounter on Saturday to bolster their title dream this season.
The Gunners secured a crucial win towards the end of the game, scoring their two goals in the 89th and 97th minutes.
Arsenal dominated the game from the whistle, with 65 per cent ball possession and 22 shots on target. But Everton put up a tough fight, seeing both sides go into the first-half break without goals.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal returned in the second half, fighting their way to grab maximum points in the game.
Victor Gyökeres broke the deadlock for Arsenal in the 89th minute courtesy of a cross from 16-year-old Max Dowman, who came in as a substitute.
Dowman doubled Arsenal’s lead in the 97th minute, becoming the youngest goalscorer in Premier League history to seal the win.
Saturday’s win gives Arsenal a ten-point lead from 31 games over second-place Manchester City.
City have yet to play two games, and earning maximum points in those games would reduce Arsenal’s lead to four points.
