Police nab suspected teenage cultist in Warri

The police command in Delta State has arrested a suspected cultist and recovered weapons from him in Warri.
The spokesman for the command, SP Bright Edafe disclosed this on Sunday in Warri.
Mr Edafe said that the suspected hoodlum was apprehended on Thursday by the operatives of the Ekpan Police Division following credible information.
He said that the 18-year-old suspect was acting in a suspicious manner within the Wangwe College in the Warri metropolis.
He stated, “Following receipt of the information, operatives of Ekpan Police Station stormed Wangwe College, and arrested the suspect. One locally fabricated cut-to-size single-barrell gun with two live cartridges was recovered.”
The police spokesman said that upon further interrogation, the teenage suspect
confessed to being a member of a cult group.
Mr Edafe added that the suspect and exhibits had been taken into the command’s custody.
