A programme of the event, which the organisers sent to Peoples Gazette, indicated that the lecture will hold at 11:30 a.m. on April 2 at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja.

The lecture is themed “Can Nigeria’s Democracy Work Without Restructuring?”

Among those expected at the event are rights activist Femi Falana, who was also the speaker at the 2025 edition; the Àrè Ònà Kàkàñfò of Yòrùbàland, Gànì Àdàms; the Nigeria Labour Congress president, Joe Ajaero; the host, Joe Odumakin; and the late activist’s wife.
