President Donald Trump has posted a second AI-generated image of Jesus hugging him after deleting an earlier post depicting him as Jesus due to public outrage.

In a post Truth Social on Wednesday, Mr Trump shared an AI generated image of Jesus holding him on his shoulder.

Alongside the image of him and Jesus, Mr Trump wrote, “The Radical Left Lunatics might not like this, but I think it is quite nice!!!”

On Monday, the U.S. President faced widespread criticism from Americans following an image depicting him as Jesus Christ.

Mr Trump had posted a photo of himself as Jesus Christ, labelling Pope Leo “weak” over his call for peace.

In the image shared on Truth Social (post now deleted), Mr Trump is depicted in robes, surrounded by radiant light, appearing to perform a healing, with figures resembling angels around him.
