Katsina sets April 27 for third term school resumption

The Katsina State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has announced that academic activities for the 2025/2026 third term will commence on Monday, April 27.
This is contained in a statement issued in Katsina on Sunday by the ministry’s public relations officer, Sani Danjuma, on behalf of the commissioner.
According to him, the resumption date remains as earlier scheduled and is part of efforts to ensure adequate coverage of the school curriculum and improve students’ academic performance across the state.
He further clarified that there would be no holiday on the Friday preceding resumption, directing all students to be present in school as usual.
“Parents, guardians, school administrators and other stakeholders have been urged to take note of the development and ensure full compliance,” he said.
Mr Danjuma added that the state government remains committed to strengthening the education sector under the leadership of Governor Dikko Radda.
He also, on behalf of the ministry, appreciated stakeholders for their continued support and cooperation.
