Gunmen killed driver, kidnapped travellers on Lagos-Benin road: Witness

Gunmen on Monday reportedly killed a yet-to-be-identified driver and abducted several passengers along the Lagos-Benin Expressway.
In the viral video, a witness said the driver was killed, and the passengers were abducted.
“Go see them. Na the update wey dey be that. You see that trailer dey so. Na where dem kidnap,” the man said in pidgin English. “And dem say soldiers dem there. See am. See people. See squad. People dey back.”
The police spokeswoman, Eno Ikoedem, did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the reported violent highway attack and kidnapping.
