Deputy Governor Monday Onyeme has said Delta is reputable for its hospitality in Nigeria.

Mr ‎Onyeme said this on Monday in Asaba, when a delegation of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, led by its president, Zuwairat Kishimi, paid him a courtesy visit.

‎According to the deputy governor, the influx of investors and visitors to Delta has been attributed to its hospitable nature.

‎

‎Mr ‎Onyeme said that the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori made Delta conducive for those with genuine intentions, through the effective delivery of its MORE Agenda.

‎

‎Mr Onyeme commended ANAN for choosing Asaba as the venue for its 2026 Mandatory Continuing Professional Development Programme.

‎

‎He said that the training and retraining of professionals usually help to keep them abreast of recent developments in their fields.

‎

‎”Delta is known for its hospitality and, as a government, we are committed to making the state more comfortable for tourists and people who intend to do genuine business,” Mr ‎Onyeme said.

‎

‎He urged ANAN members to always uphold the ethics of the accounting profession and wished them a pleasant stay in the state.

‎

Ms Kishimi commended the Delta government for making Asaba conducive for their programme. 

‎She admitted that the administration of Mr Oborevwori had provided a conducive environment for both residents and visitors alike.
