Delta known for hospitality, says Deputy Governor Onyeme

Deputy Governor Monday Onyeme has said Delta is reputable for its hospitality in Nigeria.
Mr Onyeme said this on Monday in Asaba, when a delegation of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, led by its president, Zuwairat Kishimi, paid him a courtesy visit.
According to the deputy governor, the influx of investors and visitors to Delta has been attributed to its hospitable nature.
Mr Onyeme said that the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori made Delta conducive for those with genuine intentions, through the effective delivery of its MORE Agenda.
Mr Onyeme commended ANAN for choosing Asaba as the venue for its 2026 Mandatory Continuing Professional Development Programme.
He said that the training and retraining of professionals usually help to keep them abreast of recent developments in their fields.
”Delta is known for its hospitality and, as a government, we are committed to making the state more comfortable for tourists and people who intend to do genuine business,” Mr Onyeme said.
He urged ANAN members to always uphold the ethics of the accounting profession and wished them a pleasant stay in the state.
Ms Kishimi commended the Delta government for making Asaba conducive for their programme.
She admitted that the administration of Mr Oborevwori had provided a conducive environment for both residents and visitors alike.
