Kano FA Cup: Bichi First FC defeat Pillars to reach final
Bichi First Football Club defeated Kano Pillars 4–2 on penalties in the Kano F.A Cup semifinals.
The tightly-contested match saw both sides display determination, but neither could break the deadlock during regulation time.
Kano Pillars struggled to penetrate Bichi First’s resilient defence.
The penalty shootout was postponed on Friday due to darkness and weather conditions, before being completed on Saturday.
Bichi First demonstrated composure and precision in the shootout, netting four penalties against Kano Pillars’ two.
With this result, Bichi First FC will now represent Kano in the FA Cup final against Barau FC.
