London terror attack suspect identified as Essa Suleiman

The man who stabbed two Jewish men in north London on Wednesday has been identified as Essa Suleiman, a British citizen born in Somalia.
Mr Suleiman, 45, was arrested and is in custody for stabbing Shloime Rand, 34, and Moshe Shine, 76, in Golders Green on Wednesday.
The Metropolitan Police declared Mr Suleiman’s attack a terrorist act and arrested him for attempted murder.
Records show Mr Suleiman was previously referred to the government’s counter-extremism programme in 2020.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, in a statement on social media, said, “The antisemitic attack in Golders Green is utterly appalling.”
He added, “Attacks on our Jewish community are attacks on Britain. Thank you to Shomrim, Hatzola and the police for acting swiftly. Those responsible will be brought to justice.”
