Lagos council boss hails workers’ resilience

Akinola Idowu, chairman of the Orile-Agege LCDA, on Friday congratulated workers, saying their resilience remains the heartbeat of progress and prosperity.
This is contained in a statement issued by Sunday Adefamoye, the chief press secretary to the chairman.
Mr Idowu praised workers’ sacrifices, noting that every effort strengthens community growth and secures the state’s collective future.
“Labour builds nations,” Mr Idowu said, urging workers to remain steadfast, hopeful, and united in purpose across Orile-Agege and the state.
He restated unity and diligence as vital tools for overcoming challenges and achieving greater milestones for generations yet unborn.
The chairman extended heartfelt goodwill, describing workers’ dedication and discipline as invaluable assets to the community and Lagos.
“Without workers, progress halts,” he added, wishing that their strength and sacrifices yield fulfilment, recognition, and success.
Mr Idowu encouraged resilience, diligence, and unwavering hope, stressing that labour’s enduring value anchors societal development.
