Barcelona beat Real 2-0, win 29th LaLiga title

Barcelona wrap up the Spanish top-flight title, beating rivals Real Madrid in the final El Clásico of the season and officially winning the LaLiga title for the 29th time in history.
Before kick-off, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick was given an emotional minute of silence after losing his father earlier in the encounter.
Sunday’s LaLiga decider at the Camp Nou saw the league leaders break the deadlock just nine minutes into the game with an incredible direct free-kick from Marcus Rashford at the edge of the 18-yard box, finding the net beyond Thibaut Courtois.
The home side made it 2-0 with a strike from Ferran Torres off a well-worked effort from Dani Olmo, with the goal pushing the league leaders closer to the Spanish crown.
Los Blancos were unable to reduce the deficit before the half-time whistle and after the break despite several chances from Gonzalo Garcia, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Vinicius Jr and Jude Bellingham.
The victory also enables Barcelona’s João Cancelo to make history as the first player to win league titles in Europe’s top five leagues.
Now Flick’s side, after the brilliant performance, win LaLiga back-to-back for the 29th time in their history, reclaiming the top spot and moving 14 points clear of Real Madrid, with just three matches remaining.
The fixture also records a season without a trophy for Real Madrid in all competitions.
