Maikaba invites 35 players for WAFU B U20 Championship

Nigeria flying Eagles coach, Abdul Maikaba, has invited 35 players in preparation for WAFU B U20 tournament.

In a statement on Friday by the NFF Communication Department, the NFF announced that the coach selected 35 players to report in Abuja in preparation for the WAFU tournament slated for July 2026 in Ivory Coast.

The list comprised three goalkeepers, 10 defenders, 11 midfielders  and 11 forwards.

“All players are expected to report to camp in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on Saturday, May 16,” the statement read.

Invited players to the flying Eagles camp:

Goalkeepers: Clinton Lawani (Sporting Lagos); Abubakar Rufai (NK-Istra 1961(Croatia); Uchechukwu Aloysius (Akwa United)
