Speaker Gbajabiamila names Charles Omole technical adviser on national security

The London-based national security expert will advise the House of Representatives on national security and intelligence reform.

Charles Omole has been appointed as the new technical adviser to House Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila.

The development was disclosed in a statement from the parliament on Thursday evening. Mr. Omole also confirmed it to Peoples Gazette, saying he will be serving as a reform strategist to the Speaker on national security and intelligence reform. 

Mr. Omole has decades of experience as a national security analyst. He has previously advised federal authorities on international best practices to law enforcement. 

Mr. Gbajabimila also made new appointments on Thursday, including deputy chief of staff and special adviser on administrative matters.
