Osagie Ize-Iyamu, an Edo All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, has urged members and supporters of the party to mobilise for President Bola Tinubu’s second term.

The Edo South Senatorial District APC aspirant made the call on Saturday in Benin as the party held its presidential primary election.

Mr Ize-Iyamu, also the former Secretary to the Edo State Government (SSG), described the APC presidential primary election as a chance to deepen democracy and strengthen commitment to national progress.

“As a loyal party man and steadfast supporter of Mr. President, I urge you to support him beyond the primaries,” he said.

He said there was a need for members to remain supportive of Mr Tinubu as he advanced his vision and developmental strides across the country.

He also encouraged them to mobilise non-APC members and actively participate in all important democratic processes.
