Nigerian legion reaffirms commitment to socio-economic progress in Kaduna 

The legion chairman also appealed to residents to embrace unity.

The Nigerian Legion says it remains committed to supporting initiatives that will foster stability and enhance the socio-economic progress of Kaduna State

The legion, however, called on residents of the state to continue supporting Governor Uba Sani to consolidate the gains recorded under his administration.

The Chairman of the chapter, Sani Giwa, made the call in Kaduna while assessing the governor’s performance as he marks three years in office.

Mr Giwa said the cooperation of citizens was essential to sustaining peace, unity and development across the state.

He urged residents to support government initiatives through lawful conduct, prayers and promotion of peaceful coexistence.

According to him, the administration of Mr Sani has recorded notable achievements in key sectors of the state’s economy, resulting in improved living conditions for many residents.

He cited interventions in education, healthcare, agriculture, road infrastructure, and youth and women empowerment, as well as efforts to strengthen security and improve the welfare of citizens.

“The governor’s achievements over the past three years are commendable and have become a source of pride for the people of Kaduna State.

“His administration has demonstrated commitment to addressing developmental challenges and improving the well-being of residents,” he said.

The legion chairman also appealed to residents to embrace unity and reject activities capable of undermining peace and security in the state.

He stressed the need for citizens to see themselves as one people irrespective of their ethnic, religious or political differences.

Mr Giwa also commended Mr Sani for his support to the Nigerian Legion in Kaduna State, noting that the assistance contributed significantly to the growth and activities of the organisation.

He assured the governor of the legion’s continued cooperation in promoting peace, unity and development in the state.

According to him, the Nigerian Legion remains committed to supporting initiatives that will foster stability and enhance the socio-economic progress of Kaduna Stat.
