#EkitiDecides2026: PDP governorship candidate Oluyede wins polling unit

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Wole Oluyede, has defeated his closest rivals at his polling unit in Ikere Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
At Polling Unit 002, Ward 03 (Ugele/Akoru), Ikere LGA, Mr Oluyede polled 119 votes to defeat the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Governor Biodun Oyebanji, who secured 113 votes.
The candidates of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the National Rescue Movement (NRM) polled zero votes each.
A total of 237 voters were accredited to participate in the election out of 790 registered voters at the polling unit.
