Okonjo Iweala: WTO postpones selecting DG
The World Trade Organisation has postponed its council meeting on the selection of a director-general for the organization.
Ambassador David Walker, the chair of the General Council, informed WTO members of the decision today.Â
No reason was stated for the postponement.
Former finance minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and South Korean Yoo Myung hee are vying for the WTO director-general role.
