Oyo APC governorship candidate Alli mourns ex-governor Ajimobi’s younger brother

Senator Sharafadeen Alli, the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in Oyo State, has expressed sadness over the passing of Teslim Ajimobi.
Mr Ajimobi, a younger brother to former Oyo governor Abiola Ajimobi, reportedly died at a hospital in London.
In a statement on Friday, Mr Alli described Mr Ajimobi’s death as a painful loss to Oyo and the progressive family.
He further described the deceased as a calm, respectful and supportive personality who lived a life of simplicity, humility and compassion.
The APC candidate hailed the deceased’s commitment to the progress of the party and development of his community.
Mr Alli noted that the deceased remained loyal to the ideals of progressive politics and maintained cordial relationships with people across political and social divides.
“Coming six years after the passing of his elder brother, former Gov. Abiola Ajimobi, this is indeed another trying moment for the family and all of us in the progressive fold,” he stated.
The APC candidate condoled with the Ajimobi family, political associates and residents of Ibadan South-East Local Government over the unfortunate incident.
