#EndSARS protester alleges strange men broke into residence, attacked mother, sister
An #EndSARS campaigner has claimed an attempt by unknown agents to take him away from his residence in Lagos.
Eromosele Adene said his mother and sister were attacked when the men broke into their house on Saturday morning. He was unable to identify the ‘strange men’ who took part in the alleged trespass, which Peoples Gazette has yet to independently authenticate.
Mr. Adene suggested he was being sought for listing his telephone number on a flyer that announced a protest scheduled for Saturday by Allen Junction. He repeatedly rejected calls to the number Saturday morning.
Although #EndSARS protests had descallated over the past week, following scrapping of the brutal police unit that triggered it and the Nigerian Army massacre of protesters in Lagos on October 20, some Nigerians have refused to back down, saying most of the reforms promised by the government had yet to be implemented.
The unfolding development came hours after Peoples Gazette reported that Nigerian government had yet again targeted #EndSARS protesters with a freeze on bank accounts suspected of holding transactions for the historic movement.
