Police withdraw officers attached to Fani-Kayode, Emeka Offor, Shina Peller, others

Senators, House members and federal officials are also amongst those considered unworthy of police protection.

The Force Headquarters has withdrawn police officers attached to some serving federal lawmakers, business executives, pentecostal preachers and other public figures and institutions across the country.

The directive was issued on Wednesday and it requested immediate implementation of the recent order by Inspector-General Mohammed Adamu for the withdrawal of police officers from unworthy public and private and entities

Sixty individuals and corporate organisations were affected by the new directive, including politician Femi Fani-Kayode, businessman Emeka Offor, ruling party chief Tokunbo Afikunyomi, serving senator Ajayi Boroffice, House member Shina Peller amongst others.
