28 vessels conveying petroleum products, food items, others expected at Lagos ports
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 28 ships with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected at Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea Port and Tincan Island port in Lagos on Thursday.
The NPA disclosed this in its Daily Shipping Position.
The NPA said the vessels are expected between July 16 and 26.
It added that 10 of the expected ships were carrying containers of different goods, while 18 would berth with bulk urea, petrol, general cargo, crude oil, diesel, aviation fuel, alkaline, bulk gas and bulk wheat.
The NPA noted that 13 ships and tanker vessels had arrived at the three ports, waiting to berth with petrol, bulk wheat, general cargo, bulk gas, diesel, bulk urea, containers and bulk sugar.
It stated that 27 ships are presently discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, containers, petrol, diesel, crude oil and containers, aviation fuel, bulk gypsum, fresh fish, bulk sugar and bulk gas at Lekki Deep Sea Port, Apapa and Tincan Island port.
